Live from the rock yard

Today I’m out at the GMU rock saw room, using my WordPress smartphone app for the first time to display a chunk of Catoctin greenstone which I collected near Linden Virginia.

This piece is really green, a more epidote rich sample and is a nice contrast to the piece Aaron is posting. (Also live)

First time doing this, so I’m not sure how this will all look when I publish.
Here goes nothing….

  1. That is exactly the color I’m going to paint my bedroom! Love the epidotes (if an antidote and an episode had a love child…)

    Great geologizing, Pitts!
